Mallik Mahalingam


Mallik is responsible for driving Storvisor’s overall product architecture and company operations. Before founding Storvisor, he was a principal engineer at VMware, where he led both networking and storage product development for almost a decade. At VMware, he also led industry wide initiatives on VXLAN and PCI SR-IOV, and advised VMware customers and partners on technical matters. Prior to VMware, he held research roles at HP Labs and engineering roles at Netframe Systems and Intel. Mallik was a research associate at IIT Kanpur and has a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Madras. Mallik also holds over 50 US patents.

Krishna Yadappanavar


Krishna is responsible for various aspects of the product and company operations at Storvisor. Before founding Storvisor, he held senior engineering roles at VMware for eight years, where he led various efforts in storage and data services such as VMFS, VMware’s clustered file system, and vFlash, the flash virtualization framework. Prior to VMware, he drove the development of the backup and recovery product at Commvault and the NAS product at EMC. He also played an instrumental role at Veritas in the development of a distributed storage appliance. Krishna has a B.S. in Computer Science from BITS Pilani.

Ravi Parthasarathy

VP of Product Management

Ravi leads our product management and technical marketing function. Prior to Storvisor, Ravi led the storage business at Omneon (acquired by Harmonic) where he helped double storage revenues in one year. Prior to Omneon, Ravi was at NetApp for 10 years, where he had various roles in product management and product marketing, including General Manager of the NAS Business Unit where he drove NetApp’s clustered storage strategy. Ravi holds an M.B.A from the University of Chicago and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University.

Suresh Ravoor

VP of Engineering

Suresh is responsible for all product development and delivery. Prior to Storvisor, he held senior engineering leadership roles at VMware and led the teams for key products such as Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and new product initiatives such as View Composer and VMware Update Manager (VUM). Prior to VMware, he led the development of several SAN management products at Brocade and Sanrise. He has an M.S. and a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and BITS Pilani respectively. While not grooving at work/home, he loves playing squash, skiing down black runs or practicing yoga.
